🧰 Winch Operator – HWU Plug & Abandonment / Workover

We are looking for an experienced Winch Operator to support a critical Plug & Abandonment (P&A) and Workover campaign offshore Terengganu for our end client, T7. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Hydraulic Workover Units (HWU), particularly in winch operations during high-priority well intervention phases.
🔍 Role Responsibilities:
- Operate winch systems during HWU rig-up, rig-down, and live well interventions.
- Safely handle lifting and lowering of tools, BOPs, and tubulars in line with operational procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors, toolpushers, and rig crew to ensure safe lifting operations.
- Perform equipment checks, routine maintenance, and ensure winch readiness at all times.
- Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and contribute to hazard identification and incident reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of winch operations and support compliance with offshore HSE standards.
✅ Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years total oilfield experience, including at least 2 years as a Winch Operator.
- Certification: Valid IWCF Level 3 (Well Intervention or Drilling) or IADC equivalent.
- HWU Familiarity Requirement:
- Either: Worked on the same HWU for 6 months within the past 12 months,
- OR: 3 years experience with the same HWU equipment (e.g., winch systems, rig-up configuration).
- Proven track record in winch operations during P&A and workover campaigns.
- Must hold valid BOSIET and offshore medical certificates.
- Strong commitment to HSE practices and teamwork.
- Available for immediate mobilisation.
