The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the piping engineering scope, ensuring high-quality deliverables in accordance with project requirements, codes, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the piping engineering team in the execution of Detail Engineering and EPCIC projects.
- Provide technical leadership for offshore piping systems, with a focus on CPP and Compression Platforms.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Review and approve piping layouts, isometrics, material specifications, and stress analysis reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including process, mechanical, structural, and instrumentation engineers.
- Conduct technical assessments, risk evaluations, and problem-solving for piping-related challenges.
- Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor documents and providing technical recommendations.
- Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers within the piping discipline.
Requirements:
- Minimum 20 years of experience in piping engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Extensive experience in Detail Engineering and EPCIC projects.
- Strong offshore project background, particularly in CPP and Compression Platforms.
- Good knowledge of piping stress analysis and material selection.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Caesar II (for stress analysis) and 3D modeling tools.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO, DNV).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
