Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with the pump package motor and act as the Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for heaters, electrical equipment, and instrumentation items. Extensive experience with Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pump Package Motor Assistance:
- Provide technical support and expertise for the selection, installation, and maintenance of pump package motors.
- Ensure motors meet project specifications, performance criteria, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and vendors to optimize motor performance and reliability.
- Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for Heaters, Electrical Equipment, and Instrumentation:
- Lead the design, specification, and procurement of heaters, electrical equipment, and instrumentation items.
- Ensure all packages meet project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to manage the delivery and installation of these packages.
- FPSO Experience:
- Oversee electrical engineering activities related to FPSO projects, ensuring all work adheres to industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance for the integration of electrical systems on FPSO units.
- Conduct detailed engineering analyses and support commissioning activities to ensure system readiness and optimal performance.
- Technical Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical direction and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Review and approve engineering documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct technical evaluations and risk assessments for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Project Management:
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical engineering tasks.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements are met.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all electrical engineering work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
