We are seeking skilled Riggers with experience in FPSO hook-up operations for short-term rotational assignments. The Riggers will play a critical role in rigging and lifting operations during FPSO hook-up activities, ensuring all tasks are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute rigging and lifting operations during FPSO hook-up, including handling, securing, and moving heavy equipment and materials.
- Set up and operate rigging gear such as slings, shackles, hoists, and other lifting devices.
- Follow instructions from the Deck Foreman and other supervisors, ensuring rigging tasks are performed safely and accurately.
- Conduct pre-use inspections of all rigging equipment to ensure safety and readiness.
- Actively participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings to maintain high safety standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Assist in the alignment, positioning, and connection of FPSO modules and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the deck crew and other team members to coordinate operations smoothly.
- Report any equipment defects, safety hazards, or incidents immediately to the Deck Foreman or relevant supervisor.
- Assist with general deck operations and other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Rigger in FPSO hook-up operations or similar offshore environments.
- Strong knowledge of rigging practices, including the safe use of slings, shackles, and hoisting equipment.
- Understanding of offshore safety regulations and the ability to maintain a high standard of safety awareness.
- Certification in rigging and lifting operations (e.g., OPITO-approved rigger training).
- Valid offshore safety and survival certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) and offshore medical certificate.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural team.
