I am a Senior Mechanical Engineer at QatarEnergy, a leading energy company in Qatar, with over 20 years of experience in leading mechanical engineering disciplines and end-to-end large scale projects. I have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and hold ASME VIII Div. 2 certification. I provide quality mechanical rotating, static and piping engineering support and expertise through all stages of the project, from FEED to commissioning. I have a remarkable acumen to deliver technical insights to engineering studies, including design reviews, HAZOP, and risk management activities. I have demonstrated expertise in ensuring all work being completed without compromise to quality and delivered according to the project schedule. I am greatly skilled to lead and deliver mechanical engineering project scope of work to the client as well as execute closely with procurement team to develop best solutions for the clients. I have a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex and challenging offshore and onshore projects across the globe, covering mechanical packages, export booster compressors, enhanced oil recovery, and plant asset maintenance. I have saved millions of dollars by smart negotiations with contractors, resolving issues internally, and conducting feasibility studies and conceptualizations.
